Thank you by Pastor Poju Oyemade

Using this opportunity to thank all members of Covenant Christian Centre for your commitment to the work. To have spent over a decade in this work and not having to raise money publicly doesn't so much show the faith of the leader as much as it demonstrates the faithfulness of the people.

This ministry has no lack whatsoever. May the blessing of the faithful rest upon you, your family and all your labors this year. You shall gather in effortlessly. Your inner eyes are opened to see all that God has prepared. As you have done in secret so shall men see God openly reward you. God bless you all.

Pastor Poju Oyemade

Grow the Seed in You!

“But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it dies. And that which thou sowest,
thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body”-(1Corinthians 15:35-38).
When a seed is planted, it has to die first before it can grow. Every seed draws life from within itself. The process
of dying is essential to creating a new life. Once planted (buried in the soil or ground), God gives the seed its own
body which fuels life within the seed. Humans can never fully evaluate the capacity of this life in any seed.
We never can tell in exact terms what frontiers it can conquer. While there are natural seeds you can easily
recognise because they are readily available in your environment, you will agree with me that there are others
you are not able to identify thus, you may never be able to estimate or guess their capacities.

The Concept behind the West African Faith Believers' Convention (WAFBEC) 2013

Nigeria hosts some of the largest and most powerful ministries in the world today. This did not happen by chance. It is the product of definite seeds that were sown in the country at a specific period of time in our nation's history.

A More Intimate Walk

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.(Hosea 6vs1-3)

Insight by Pastor Poju Oyemade

Too many of us have limited the power of God in our lives by not understanding His faithfulness. At the very point of our breakthrough we throw in the towel. God didn't stop Daniel from being thrown into the lion's den, neither from being thrown into the flames. He did not stop Moses from confronting the red sea. What He did was to show them that even in the worst situations when you are made subject to vanity against your will He is there. The resurrection power works from such places. We confess and pray that it may not happen in the fear of death and when it does we ask why? We give up where God has just began. Rejoice i say rejoice in the grave and the breakthrough is yours

I really like this guy Oz

I met Osaze in 1978, we both entered International School Ibadan (I.S.I) that year. As fate will have it we were both put into the same class 1C. I had just come from a primary school known as MaryHill Convent School Ibadan while Osaze came from Staff School University of Ibadan. MaryHill didn't have as many students enrolling as Staff School did in I.S.I at that time.

Pastor Poju Oyemade Quote

To succeed in life you have to at a point, have The momentum. Things just have to fall in place for you and then you seize the moment without looking back. Getting that momentum, which really is like having the winds in your sails is the issue. To do that you must know the importance of learning. Seize every teachable moment. When people say things you don't understand ask, don't play "i know it all". What you know is what is showing in your life. If you can learn the power of self education as you go through life making the adjustments you will succeed.

Poju Oyemade Quote

Folks fail cos they honor the past more than the future their hearts speak to them about, they respect the traditions of the past and men's opinions more than their guts. They sit admiring others instead of honing their own gifts. In hastiness of spirit, they fail to realize the power in d Now. They live the world of their aspirations and never build altars of worship to God cos of the challenges they face in d Now. This would have pointed the way to that future they dream of.

Poju Oyemade Quote

Sometimes God allows us to go through things to show us how solid we really are. To teach us that we are stronger than we think. We fear too many things that can never destroy us. We lean on people we don't have to and its when He rocks our boat and we see that we are still standing even though we expected to perish, that we finally realise our strength. Man that is in honour and knoweth not perishes, he self destructs from fear

The Age of Value Oriented Intelluctuals

The New order in the world is gradually giving birth to an era of value oriented individuals. When we speak of value oriented intellectuals, we mean those who seek to use their intellectual prowess to establish certain values in our society.

Pastor Poju Oyemade Quote

The Sept 11 lesson. One of the major lessons from Sept 11 attack is this, never go to sleep after a major victory and that weakness is provocative. After the collapse of communism America went to sleep, in terms of its emphasis on defense and intelligence.. They cut their budgets thinking all threats had disappeared. When you have just won a great victory never give up the life style and discipline that produced it. Don't win your wars and loose the peace

Poju Oyemade Quotes

The real definition of success is one who has improved his/her personal situation in order to be more useful and valuable to those around them. The true value of the material benefits of this decision is found in the lessons they learnt while seeking to improve their lot. The real value is not in the material things that were added to them but in the wisdom they acquired in the pursuit of this goal.
